Night Animals: New Series by Mikko Lagerstedt

Finnish photographer Mikko Lagerstedt is back with another fantastic series (previously here and here).

“Night Animals” is a whimsical series featuring “animals wondering around the city while people are sleeping”.

“As it is unlikely to come across a stray ostrich on an empty street, these photographs are actually made of two images—one of the atmospheric background and the other of the animal itself, both captured by Lagerstedt.

However, the picture featuring a cat under a tree was actually shot on site — it also inspired the rest of the series.”
